Vision

To help you and your organization develop and succeed.

Company History  1999-present

In 1999, Tom Pierce asked himself a question he now asks his Executive Coaching clients: “Tom, in your 30 years of management experience in broadcasting, banking, marketing, and consulting, when were you having the most fun at work?” He answered without hesitation: “When I‘m coaching, training, or mentoring people to help them develop and succeed.”

That answer was the genesis of Pierce Management Development.

Pierce Communications Group

Tom founded Pierce Communications Group to provide marketing, motivating, and mentoring to business and nonprofit organizations. In the next five years, 50% of the thriving company’s clients depended on Tom for coaching and training, and the other half looked to him for marketing guidance.

Pierce Management Development today

By 2009, more and more boards were asking Tom to facilitate critical-issue meetings and retreats. The Pierce Management Development menu was modified to serve its current entrées:

Joint Adventure

Lu Ann Dillon, CEO, often co-facilitates retreats with Tom. She counsels and trains Pierce Management Development clients who have operational or workflow challenges. Tom, continuing in his role as President, is freed up to have fun—helping people and organizations achieve higher levels of excellence through executive coaching, training, and facilitating.

Testimonials

Racine Federated used Tom Pierce to coach three important middle managers in a newly acquired company. We needed to move quickly to improve a variety of skills so the division could achieve sales and financial growth targets. We were very pleased with the results, and we were equally pleased with the process.
